Emily is an innovation strategist with experience in hardware product development, human-centered design, and venture building for sustainable infrastructure. She has built products in energy, water, and sanitation in emerging markets, led user research and product strategy for Fortune 500 and government clients, and validated new venture opportunities in energy, mobility, and sustainable materials at Newlab. She is currently the Founder and CEO at Lady Lifting Co, which is designing strength training gear for women, and advises deeptech start-ups through the Maryland Energy Innovation Accelerator, Scale for ClimateTech, and Brainforest. She holds an MS in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and a BS in Engineering: Atmosphere/Energy from Stanford.
